Pages from a Tale silk blouse
This blouse is perfect for women who love Romanian traditions. The print on the blouse is inspired by Romanian mythology, where good fairies have golden hair, wear folk costumes and live in centennial woods.
The Romanian folk costume is creatively reinterpreted by the designer, the floral elements in the blouse being brush-ups of rare mountain flowers of Romania. Venus’s slipper, gentian, Romanian peony, edelweiss, wild rose, sweet William of the mountains are the floral elements that can be found in the print. The composition was though of as an open book, in the right being a page with edelweiss flowers, symbols in our culture. The fairy has a raw silk head dress, a traditional Romanian blouse and embellished folk skirt.
The chromatic of the scarf is warm, earthly, with just a few blue and green accents. The composition was manually created by Andreea Tincu in watercolors and color pencils, and then digitally processed. Upon request and with extra-charge for fabric consumption, the blouse can be made in sizes larger than those available online.
